YOUR ROLE
RPA Lead is responsible for owning the Automation roadmap for GBS as well as the associated portfolio of projects and the governance and proactive development and enhancement of all processes across the enterprise. Will lead a team of specialists and develop automation and digitalization plans. Will have responsibility for supporting the creation and evolution of the delivery framework, mentoring team members, designing the technical design documents, and delivering the proposed automated/digitalized processes on schedule and with quality. They must collaborate with process stakeholders and peer process owners to ensure effective and efficient process operations and identification and leverage of cross-process synergies.
Robotic Process Automation Lead will be looking at the overall automation spectrum, of which RPA for example is one of a variety of solutions.
The RPA Lead mission is to drive GBS automation & digitalization agenda in order to effectively support the strategy & transformation plan. This includes:
• Reviewing the overall Excellence Automation spectrum
• Development of Automation / Robotic Process Automation (RPA) framework and methodologies
• Defining solution standards, documentation, policies, approval flows controls and technology
• Focus on Automation agenda within GBS scope
• Set up of automation factory, including selection of appropriate technology supporting solution development
• Identification, evaluation and final qualification / recommendation of the solution initiatives
• Development of Automation/Digitalisation roadmap
• Obtain minimum 30% of productivity savings through Automation (for GBS scope)
• Operational management of virtual workforce / monitoring of its effectiveness and efficiency
• Constant market benchmark and application of solutions advanced capabilities, tools and technology
• Cooperation with Group IT, especially in the area of technology selection, tools and infrastructure
• Works closely with developers, testers, process architects and technical architects to ensure delivery within schedule and with quality
• Familiar with solution designs to ensure consistency and continuity across multiple delivery teams
• Final review on the technical design documents to ensure proper handover of the technical design to developers to code the automations as per design. Provides direction and leadership for the team members
• Reviews recognized system deficiencies and approves the implementation of effective solutions
• Ensures reusable components are designed & developed where applicable
• Conducts performance evaluations and mentors team members
• Continuously seeks and evaluates new services and technologies
YOUR BACKGROUND
• Minimum three - five years’ experience in Business process automation, ideally in a Global Business Services context
• Experience in designing, planning and implementing automation and digital solutions
• Agile development processes
• Proven track record in people management and mentoring roles, with demonstrated ability to effectively guide team members' professional development.
• Strong capability in ensuring task completion and holding team members accountable for deliverables, with excellent follow-through skills.
• Experience in implementing and delivering measurable results through automation processes, with focus on efficiency improvements and technical optimization.
• Knowledge of development cycle for applications
• Experience in designing, developing, and deploying RPA workflows using UiPath Studio and Orchestrator, error handling, and reusable components. (preferred)
• Expertise in managing Orchestrator (queues, assets, scheduling) and integrating UiPath with APIs, databases, and third-party systems, including ServiceNow, for end-to-end automation (preferred)
