Robotics Assembly Specialist

What you will be doing:

  • Lead the parts fabrication process for autonomous mobile robots: 3D printing, waterjet, laser cutting, other
  • Setup and test software and electronic components
  • Assist with various equipment and robot assembly
  • Test autonomous robots
  • Provide feedback to engineers to improve quality of the assembled devices
  • Assist with robotics equipment deployment
  • Supervise robots and equipment during deployment activities

Requirements:

  • Mechanical ability
  • Ability to lift 45 lbs
  • Driver's license

Good to have:

  • Experience with complex electro-mechanical systems
  • Mechanical or electrical engineering background
  • Familiarity with computers, Linux-based systems, ROS
  • Familiarity with lidars, depth sensors, IMUs, other types of on-board sensors for mobile robots
  • 3D CAD design
