The Role:

  • Entegris Yonezawa Plant is seeking Senior Industrial Engineer, Yonezawa Facility to join our team.

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Industrial Engineer to lead and support continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in

  • Supporting related functions such as production team, Process Engineering team in driving continuous improvement activities with respect to yield, capacity, reliability, quality, productivity, energy, cost effectiveness and optimizing production processes.

  • Working with related function teams to build and sustain safe, reliable and efficient operation of the process involving membrane, Liquid filter, Gas filter, injection molding components, Dispense Pump.

In this role you will:

  • Lead and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.

  • Lead and facilitate annual cost saving activities across plant organization

  • Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and propose effective solutions.

  • Design and optimize factory layouts and workflows.

  • Develop and standardize work procedures and provide training to operators.

  • Support process design and implementation during the introduction of new equipment.

  • Monitor and improve KPIs related to Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery (SQCD).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic projects.

  • Support Continuous Improvement team on various activities and trainings

  • Work with Product Management team and production team on capacity planning.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial engineering within a manufacturing environment.

  • Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.

  • Proficiency in industrial engineering tools such as time studies and line balancing.

  • Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English (TOEIC score >500).

Preferred:

  • Experience working in global manufacturing environments.

  • Project management experience.

  • Working experience in Semiconductor or Pharmaceutical industry

  • Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel VBA or Power BI.

  • Experience Kaizen activities based on Toyota Production System

  • Six sigma Black Belt or Grenn Belt
