Supervise the care being given to the surgical patients in the Pre-op and PACU areas on a daily basis. Plans the daily staffing assignments to maximize efficiency.

Supervise the care being given to surgical patients in the Pre-op /PACU area.
Provide direct patient care in the Pre-op/PACU areas.
Must have strong computers skills (EPIC platform)
Coordinate the orientation of new staff members to the Pre-op/PACU area.
Reporting of all patient, visitor, physician or employee complaints.
Reporting of any injuries to any person within the facility.
Plan the daily work schedules and staff assignments.
Perform annual staff evaluations
Ensure annual staff education
Order medications for the pre-op and PACU areas.
Order narcotics for MESC.
Ensure that the needed clinical supplies are ordered.
Assist with new MD orientation
General Responsibilities
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Experience Requirements
3 or more years' experience in a healthcare setting, preferably as a Charge Nurse or Assistant Nurse Manager in an outpatient setting.
License/Certification/Registration Requirements
Current ACLS (American Heart Association) and PALS (American Heart Association) certifications required at hire.
Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)

Strong written and verbal communications skills
