The United Cardiac Medicine Unit fosters a collaborative environment committed to continuous learning. This 40 bed unit cares for cardiac patients with an average length of stay of 2–5 days. The Cardiac Medicine Unit offers an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in both Telemetry and Med-Surg nursing. The team cares for patients undergoing cardiac procedures such as NSTEMI interventions, pacemaker placements, cardioversions, ablations, and other cardiac treatments. The unit also cares for patients admitted with medical or surgical conditions requiring continuous cardiac monitoring on hard wired telemetry. Our team values collaboration takes pride in a positive and supportive culture, and encourages professional growth. Nurses have opportunities to participate in shared governance, hospital wide committees, precepting, and serving in the charge nurse role.Key Position Details:

Pay Range: $42.92 to $71.47 per hourThe pay described reflects the base hourly pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
