RN Assistant Clinical Manager - Observation Full Time Night

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
  • BSN preferred.

Experience / Qualifications

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Florida
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
  • ACLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
  • NIHSS training can be obtained through various organizations and learning systems that offer courses from the American Heart Association.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with health care delivery systems, nursing process, and concepts of case coordination.
  • Knowledge of personal computers, hospital information systems, and patient care applications.
  • Knowledge of and ability to utilize the principles of adult learning.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to participate on and/or lead teams effectively.
  • Ability to develop solutions to problems, and to lead staff through the change process.
  • Ability to articulate ideas and knowledge both verbally and in writing, in a concise manner.

Physical Requirements

Physically able to sit, stand, stoop and walk for long periods of time.  The team member will need to frequently assist lifting patients and equipment. Must be able to work in a stressful environment, work independently, and be capable of critical thinking, making sound decisions, detail oriented, alert and self-motivated.  Ability to push/pull up to 20lbs, carry and lift up to 20lbs.                     

Threshold Requirements

  • These threshold requirements are required and completed yearly basis
    • Annual Joint Commission mandatory education requirements, in-service and health requirements including attendance at new employee orientation
    • TB/PPD Surveillance Program
    • Maintenance of required professional licensing and/or certification(s).
