RKS Senior Automation Tester – Senior Associate

Who we are looking for

We are looking for an RKS Senior Automation Tester reporting directly to the SQA/Test Manager. The RKS Senior Automation Tester is a hands-on quality leader responsible for owning automation strategy, execution, and continuous improvement across the RKS platform (RKS Core, Web UI, and EXE). RKS is the State Street system which supports clients’ middle office operational requirements.

The team you will be joining is part of RKS Software Quality Assurance, a function that is vital to the company as RKS is a core Record Keeping and middle‑office accounting engine responsible for processing, calculating, and maintaining financial records for State Street’s global institutional clients.

Ensuring the accuracy, stability, and scalability of RKS is critical to daily client operations, regulatory compliance, and downstream reporting. This role plays a key part in safeguarding data integrity, accelerating delivery through automation, and modernizing testing practices using AI‑assisted capabilities.

What you will be responsible for

As a RKS Senior Automation Tester, you will:

  • Own end‑to‑end automation testing for the RKS Record Keeping platform and Extended Enterprise Platform (EXE), including RKS Core, Web UI, and EXE integrated components.
  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain robust automation regression suites validating middle‑office accounting and record‑keeping workflows using a home-grown Java based automation framework.
  • Leverage Microsoft GitHub Copilot to accelerate automation development, improve coverage, and increase overall testing productivity

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
  • 3-5+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation
  • Hands‑on experience with automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred), and SQL for data validation
  • Experience using Microsoft GitHub Copilot to support automation development and productivity
  • Strong Capital Markets knowledge, including middle office and back-office workflows.

Additional requirements

  • Prior experience working on Record Keeping platforms (RKS or similar investment accounting systems) is a strong plus.

  • Exposure to Azure or cloud‑based testing environments and experience supporting production issues impacting accounting data are desirable.

Work Requirement

  • Hybrid work model as per State Street policy (onsite and remote combination)
  • Shift timings aligned to project needs, including coordination with offshore teams and release cycles.
