Job Description:
Baptist Health is looking for a Risk Specialist to join our team in Elizabethtown, KY!
Supports the Healthcare Facilities and Baptist Health Medical Group, Risk Management and Patient Safety programs, including the Patient Safety Evaluation System (PSES) and Patient Safety Work Product (PSWP) through the following activities: Coordinates, develops, and implements administrative projects for Risk Management services, oversees the computerized occurrence reporting program, and generates reports for leaders regarding proactive risk reduction and patient safety initiatives. Provides customer support for risk related issues throughout the organization. Assists in the management of Patient Safety Evaluation System – Patient Safety Work Product and litigation matters to the executive team, corporate counsel, and outside counsel. Coordinates document preparation and production for litigation matters.
Qualifications:
Associate degree required
3 years of healthcare or medical-legal related experience.
CPHRM (Certified Professional Healthcare Risk Manager) preferred.
Travel required.
