Find out more at www.pwc.com.We are looking for motivated and curious Polytechnic students to join PwC’s Cyber Security Audit team as interns for a period of 6 months or 1 year. This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cyber security, audit processes, risk assessment, and technology-driven improvement initiatives within a professional services environment.
In addition to supporting the team’s day-to-day audit and cyber-related activities, interns will also have the opportunity to explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation tools can be used to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and enhance the quality of our work.
Key Responsibilities
Support the team in performing cyber security audit and risk assessment activities
Assist in documenting audit procedures, findings, and recommendations
Help review IT systems, processes, and controls to identify gaps or areas for improvement
Conduct research on cyber security trends, risks, frameworks, and best practices
Assist with data gathering, analysis, and preparation of audit working papers and reports
Explore opportunities to use AI tools and automation to improve internal work processes
Help develop simple AI-enabled solutions, scripts, dashboards, or workflow improvements to reduce manual effort
Contribute ideas to enhance team efficiency, reporting quality, and knowledge sharing
Work closely with team members on special projects related to cyber security, audit innovation, and process transformation
We are looking for students who are:
Currently pursuing a Diploma in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science, or related disciplines
Interested in cyber security, IT audit, risk, compliance, and governance
Curious about how AI and automation can be applied in a business or audit environment
Analytical, detail-oriented, and willing to learn
Able to communicate clearly and work well in a team environment
Proactive, resourceful, and open to taking initiative
Preferred Skills / Bonus Points (Students with any of the following will have an added advantage):
Basic understanding of cyber security concepts such as access controls, vulnerability management, logging, or incident response
Familiarity with audit, risk, or compliance concepts
Basic coding or scripting skills (e.g. Python, SQL, PowerShell, VBA, or similar)
Experience using AI tools, prompt engineering, automation platforms, or low-code/no-code tools
Interest in process improvement and digital innovation
