Risk and Compliance Analyst

We are looking to welcome a new Risk and Compliance Analyst to support our nationally significant mahi.

Te tūranga – The role

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring there is a risk and compliance lens to all our BAU business-as-usual activities, strategy development and project management.

You will support the identification and rectification of weaknesses that could be damaging from a financial, operational, legal or reputational perspective while ensuring we balance our risk appetite to achieve our strategic objectives.

You will be responsible for supporting risk and compliance monitoring and reporting to management and the Board, as well as supporting and coordinating continuous improvement of our risk management and compliance frameworks.

We’re looking for a collaborative worker, who can work to deadlines effectively. To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience in a comparable risk and compliance role in financial or professional services or a government entity

  • Experienced in risk management and compliance principles and practices and their application to a large, complex business

  • The ability to influence and work collaboratively with stakeholders across different levels of leadership

  • Well-developed self-management skills, implementing actions plans and effectively achieving agreed objectives on time

  • High level of integrity, initiative, conduct, judgement and discretion
