What is the opportunity?

RBC Global Asset Management (“RBC GAM”) is a North American-based asset management firm with global scope and industry-leading investment management capabilities.  As a Revenue & Operations Analyst you will be supporting the Operations and Finance teams with a primary focus on the PH&N Institutional billing and revenue cycle, in addition to accounting functions such as reconciliations and analysis. What will you do?

  • Work with Excel and Broadridge's Revport platform to maintain client records and prepare invoices for the Institutional client business based on client agreements and internal timelines.
  • Primary point of contact for billing inquiries from both clients and internal stakeholders
  • Perform quarterly revenue analysis and monthly accrual of Institutional accounts.
  • Review receivables, apply redemption payments, and help resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Maintain documentation to assist with audit queries, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements 
  • Collaborate with various teams across RBC GAM to support and implement workflow changes to streamline processes and build efficiencies
  • Support day-to-day tasks as well as ad hoc reporting and financial analysis as required

 

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree; focus in finance, accounting or commerce
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • High attention to detail and passion for excellence in quality of work; willing to go the extra mile to self-check and ensure accuracy, strong problem solver who demonstrates strategic thinking
  • Demonstrated ability to work both in a team environment and independently
  • Adaptability when it comes to prioritizing workload due to competing priorities, delivering results to meet tight deadlines in high pressure situations
  • Strong professional written and verbal communication skills

 

Nice to Have 

  • Knowledge of Broadridge Revport, particularly in a multi-currency environment
  • Financial services industry experience is also an asset

The expected salary range for the above position is $50,000 - $90,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. 
  
This position may be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable incentive payment.
