Job Description:

The Revenue Management Analyst supports the development and execution of pricing strategies and revenue management initiatives that drive profitable growth across the UPS enterprise. This role analyzes pricing performance, manages Deal Manager templates and business rules, and helps maintain compliance with revenue management policies for U.S. small package services. The analyst collaborates across teams to optimize pricing tools, support governance, and deliver data‑driven insights.

Responsibilities

  • Support pricing strategy and analysis for UPS products, services, and subsidiaries by evaluating profitability, identifying trends, and recommending pricing actions.
  • Contribute to the creation and refinement of pricing guidelines, policies, and procedures for U.S. small package services.
  • Support optimization and maintenance of pricing tools and offers used by Sales and Pricing teams.
  • Monitor pricing program performance and support governance efforts to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Legal, IT, and other stakeholders to align pricing strategies with broader enterprise initiatives, including Architecture of Tomorrow and Deal Manager improvements
  • Conduct competitive analysis and gather market intelligence to inform pricing decisions and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Extract, cleanse, and analyze data from multiple sources to generate reports, dashboards, and actionable insights.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and deliver clear, actionable insights.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a continuous‑improvement mindset and keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to support cross‑functional efforts.
  • Understanding of UPS rate structures, pricing programs, revenue management principles, and competitive market dynamics.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Access
  • Experience with data analysis tools and platforms such as SQL Server, Power BI, or Google Cloud Platform

Preferred:

  • 1–3 years in pricing, revenue management, financial analysis, or a related field
  • Experience with Deal Manager, IAS, ODM, Databricks, or similar pricing systems
  • Exposure to cross‑functional projects involving Sales, Marketing, Finance, or IT
