Job Summary

This person adheres to quality and service standards and helps businesses accomplish its goals. This person helps with training employees, developing and implementing business strategies, and performs a variety of other tasks to ensure the business is thriving.

This person plays a role in supporting data integrity, compliance with procedures, and accurate financial operations while overseeing the team’s day-to-day operations in coordination with revenue department leadership. This person will be responsible for regularly reporting on the team’s progress in meetings or through regular email contact or reports.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and guide a team within the Revenue Department
  • Training, coaching, and guiding employees; providing helpful and timely feedback
  • Ensure team members follow company and department policies and procedures
  • Monitor teams work to ensure targets are on track and can be met within the set timelines
  • Responsible for ensuring team continually meets or exceeds service level agreements (SLAs) and month end close timelines
  • Cleary state expectations and objects with team members; ensure all understand the mission and expected targets to be met
  • Encourage and develop collaborative thinking and self-sufficient workflow processes
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of policies and procedures
  • Support in resolving conflicts or complaints from customers and employees
  • Other duties to the overall success of the department and business

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management or related field, or in lieu of experience
  • 3+ years’ direct supervision experience
  • Intermediate proficiency with Excel
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to analyze processes and information, provide effective solutions
  • Detail oriented and organized with time and project management skills
  • General accounting knowledge, SOX compliance experience preferred
