In the role of a Return to work Coordinator you will support  the Injury Management  & Return to work program  across ANZ. You will be assisting with occupational health, safety, and rehabilitation (return to work etc.) services including improvising of suitable duties plans for sick and/or injured employees. You will be assisting with the implementation, recommendations and coordination of Injury management policies and programs. To coordinate and support the ANZ Workers Compensation (WC) and Injury Management (IM)  programs including, injuries & illness management, and health & wellbeing programs in consultation with your Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with employees, managers to ensure timely and appropriate  return to work . Provide hands on support to all employees and managers  for their injury related matters.

  • Engage closely with operations to understand their businesses with regard to RTW and suitable duties

  • Collaborate closely with internal Baxter teams including  operations HR, Payroll, finance etc  as required

  • Assist with annual renewal of WC across all sites in ANZ  in consultation with the manager.

  • Assist with implementation and coordination of Rehabilitation (Return to Work etc.) programs in regard to employees who have been identified as being unable to perform their normal job roles due to injury or illness whether this is a work related or personal injury or illness.

  • Day to day management of  the ANZ injury management program, including all  legal requirements and compliance, timely reporting

  • Participate in regular IM  & RTW reviews with all levels of management including producing presentations and reports

  • Actively review and maintain confidential records on company employees to ensure compliance and ease of retrieval

  • Work closely with insurers and 3rd party providers ( Rehabilitation providers/ Allied Health / Medical Professionals) to ensure a high quality IM service

  • Weekly payroll for Workers Compensation claims, Workers Compensation reimbursements

  • Work in collaboration with other stakeholders to achieve excellent outcomes for employees and managers

  • In consultation with your manager provide general operations training support as required regarding WC and IM matters

  • Assist with educational and support services to employees regarding WC & IM matters

  • Actively review and assess current processes and identify and implement improvements as required, in consultation with manager and EHS team

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Qualified in Return to Work (RTW) Coordinator – Advanced preferred

  • Previous RTW roles – multiple juristictions preferred. ACC experience desirable

  • PC literacy with at least Med level Word, Excel, Database and Notes

  • Team Player- will assist across all areas of the Baxter team

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all employees

  • Excellent relationship building skills

  • ·Goal Setting - Able to define realistic, specific goals and objectives

  • Ability to prioritize objectives

  • Policy & Procedures – Ability to adapt internal and external procedures to meet the project objectives and conform with established policies and procedures.

  • Spoken Communications - Able to clearly present information through the spoken word; influence or persuade others through oral presentation in positive or negative circumstances; able to listen well Written Communication - Able to write clearly and effectively present ideas and to document activities.
