About the Role

As a Retail Sales Assistant / Sleep Coach, you’ll play a vital role in supporting customers on their health journey. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in customer service or retail who is ready to step into the healthcare space.

You’ll combine retail, education and care — helping customers understand their therapy, troubleshoot concerns and feel confident using their equipment.

No healthcare experience required — comprehensive training is provided.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer enquiries in‑store and over the phone
  • Investigate and help customers problem‑solve therapy and equipment issues
  • Provide set‑up, ongoing support and education to ensure therapy compliance
  • Fit customers for masks and recommend the most suitable options based on training
  • Educate customers on the safe and effective use of medical equipment
  • Drive sales of new or additional services, including phone‑based follow‑ups on trials and testing results
  • Maintain the presentation and cleanliness of the retail store and displays
  • Process payments, manage the cash float and complete banking duties
  • Manage trial and sales stock, including inventory control and re‑ordering
     

About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in a busy retail or customer service environment
  • A warm, caring approach and the ability to provide outstanding customer interactions
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt your style to meet individual needs
  • Empathy, compassion and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Active listening skills with a solutions‑focused mindset
  • A strong work ethic, reliability and honesty
  • The ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
     

Healthcare or healthcare retail experience is advantageous but not essential — we’re looking for the right attitude and a genuine willingness to learn.
