Responsibilities:
- Conduct market and industry research on retail trends, formats, and consumer behaviour
- Collect data from public sources, reports, surveys, and industry publications
- Monitor competitors, brands, and key players in the retail market
- Summarize research findings into clear insights and short reports
- Support internal teams with background research for strategy and planning
- Maintain research databases and regularly update industry trackers
- Assist with ad-hoc research requests and presentations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar retail research role
- Experience assisting in data gathering, report preparation, and presentation building essential
- Strong desk research and data analysis skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) or equivalent tools
