The purpose of the role of the FCP Retail Control expert is to prevent Financial Crime by maintaining control over the FCP organization and activities in Retail countries, via the country KYC leads. The expert works in a global team based in the Netherlands and Philippines and controls the overall KYC Retail exposure, across all Retail countries and KYC capabilities (CDD, TM, Screening).
The objective is to strengthen the control with more focus on risk and control, drive issue solving and provide guidance on regulatory reviews towards establishing a strong RAS and performance per country. The expert needs to understand, oversee, and drive regulatory changes, issue solving, etc. and link it to our way of working and processes and identify improvements.
The broad range of topics to maintain control over are (not exhaustive):
- FCP operational effectiveness, efficiency and customer experience
- Regulatory global and local reviews
- Governance including process changes and delivery
- Key Control Testing
- Risk & Control
- KPI/KRI definition and monitoring
In addition, the expert is responsible for driving the FCP Retail global community and platform to ensure strong communication and understanding of Why, What and How related to the aforementioned topics.
As an expert, you will work closely together with the KYC leads in Retail countries, Hub leads and a broad range of colleagues in the FCFP domain.
You report to the FCP Retail Control lead within the global FCFP organization.
Your Roles & Responsibilities
• Ensure creation, realization and monitoring of Digi60, OPS60 targets and DP across FCFP domain in Retail countries
• Set and handshake targets together with business line Retail
• Monitor progress and perform interventions
• Establish robust governance structure that ensures transparency, accountability, and compliance across FCP Retail related topics like regulatory reviews, KCT, risk & control with:
Strong oversight of all risks.
Consistent adoption of controls and compliance frameworks.
Timely interventions and reporting
• Act as the bridge among teams, and senior leaders to secure buy-in and enable adoption. Key outcomes:
Strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders.
Effective sponsorship and advocacy for Retail initiatives.
Measurable adoption and sustained business value from BAU and changes.
We are looking for
• Master’s Degree or equivalent level
• Growth mentality and ability to inspire
• Minimal 5 years of experience in KYC or similar role
• Proven track record in senior stakeholder management and communication.
• Proven track record in developing high performing teams.
• Proven track record in planning and implementing changes.
• Ability to display style flexibility and adapt plan, approach and behavior to the different needs and situations
