Job Summary: This position is located at the Golf Course, Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. Major Duties:

Knowledge of golf course management, including USGA/PGA rules, merchandise, and tournament formats. Knowledge of operational planning, budgeting, scheduling, and facility use in a recreational or sports-related setting. Knowledge of and skill in applying DoD, Navy, CNIC, and MWR policies and procedures. Knowledge of turf maintenance and irrigation systems. Skill in course preservation techniques and strategies. Knowledge of NAF and APF funding and fiscal management practices, such as budgeting, forecasting, and revenue tracking. Knowledge of procurement practices, processes, and procedures. Knowledge of cash-handling procedures. Knowledge of marketing, branding, and member engagement strategies. Skill in teaching golf to a range of players. Skill in providing customer service, resolving conflicts, and handling customer complaints professionally. Ability to plan and manage a diverse golf program including tournaments and instructional clinics. Skill in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Skill in the use of program-specific software and platforms (e.g., REC Trac). Skill in planning and managing projects, such as renovations and course improvements. Ability to prepare and analyze reports to inform decisions. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to perform the full range of supervisory duties. Work is primarily sedentary in nature. However, requires some physical exertion, such as long periods of standing, walking over uneven surfaces, recurring bending, crouching, or similar activities, lifting up-to 50lbs on occasion, and driving, or operating golf carts during inspections.
