People are living longer and we’re excited by the opportunities this brings to help people live their best lives. We’re here for everyone who wants to make the most of their time on the planet and leave it a little better than they found it – however grand or humble their ambitions.

We help people live their best lives. We help them with the big stuff, for the moments that matter: Pensions, Savings, Investments. At Aegon, we strive in creating a diverse organisation that plays a meaningful role in driving greater equity, inclusion and belonging.

As a Responsible Investment Analyst, you’ll play a key role in collecting, analysing and supplying the investment and ESG data that feeds into Aegon UK’s Responsible Investment and climate reporting. You’ll help turn complex data into clear, trusted insight – supporting the development, oversight and evolution of our RI and climate strategies so our propositions deliver strong customer outcomes, remain competitive in the UK market, and meet high governance and regulatory standards.

The Investment Proposition team sits at the heart of Aegon’s investment offering, bringing together strategy, governance and specialist expertise to support innovation, distribution and decision‑making across the business.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Analyse investment performance, workplace and RI data to identify trends and deliver actionable insight.

  • Support RI, stewardship and climaterelated reporting, including analysis aligned to frameworks such as TCFD and emerging UK sustainability disclosure expectations.

  • Evaluate funds and default arrangements across cost, performance, risk, ESG alignment and suitability.

  • Analyse and interpret climate and RIrelated metrics (e.g. netzero alignment, carbon exposure, climate risk and Climate Value at Risk) to support oversight of funds and default strategies.

  • Provide investment and RI input into RFPs, surveys and questionnaires across workplace channels.

  • Produce and present clear, standardised performance reporting for internal stakeholders.

  • Conduct competitor and peer reviews to inform proposition development and innovation.

  • Maintain accurate oversight of the fund range and default estate for reporting and analysis.

  • Act as the Default Estate SME, supporting Distribution with insight and proposition positioning.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Proven ability to collate, interpret and quality‑check Responsible Investment and ESG data for reporting and analysis.

  • Comfortable working with large, complex datasets and translating analysis into clear insight for non‑technical stakeholders.

  • An understanding of key RI and climate concepts, such as TCFD, stewardship expectations, netzero alignment and climate risk metrics (e.g. Climate Value at Risk).

  • Experience connecting data insights to customer outcomes and commercial strategy.

  • Understanding of how investment and RI trends shape propositions and market positioning.

  • Advanced Excel skills are required; experience using Python to manipulate, analyse and automate investment or ESG datasets is desirable.

  • Proven background using data to develop or evolve investment propositions in pensions or workplace savings.

  • Experience working collaboratively across teams and building strong stakeholder relationships.

  • A curious, well‑organised approach, with confidence taking ownership of work in a fast‑moving environment.

What’s in it for you?

  • We’re serious about your future and our enhanced pension scheme is now in place.  We ask you to contribute 3% of your salary to your pension and we’ll put in 9%.  If you decide to contribute more, we’ll match it up to a combined total of 20% of your salary (that’s 7% from you and 13% from us).

  • A discretionary bonus, depending on personal and company performance

  • 34 days leave per year (including bank holidays, pro-rated for part-time)

We also offer private medical cover, life assurance, critical illness cover, enhanced parental leave and a variety of lifestyle benefits to help our employees live their best lives, including retail discount vouchers, cycle2work scheme, subsidised restaurant and online GP appointments.  To find out more about what to expect at Aegon, visit our careers site.
