Expectations:
Responsible for the delivery of Respiratory Care to inpatients and outpatients requiring licensed practitioner skill levels to intervene in complex patient care situations. Assumes responsibility for policy and procedure formulations, quality management activities and collaborative committee participation. Assumes evaluator responsibility for new hires and others as directed within area of responsibility. Assists with clinical based research projects related to defining/monitoring appropriateness and effectiveness of delivered respiratory care. Performing work in accordance with physician orders. Defined duties are performed in the neonatal, pediatric and adult patient populations in floor, intermediate, intensive and emergency care areas. Functional breakdown of responsibilities: Patient Care Duties (85%); Continuing Education (5%); Performance Improvement (5%); Professional Development (3%); Evaluator/Mentorship (2%). This position may require flexibility of hours.

Pay Range: The estimated base rate for this position is $41.54 - $63.35.Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.

This ensures that employees are fairly compensated for the full length of their shift, with enhanced pay as their workday progresses. The estimated blended hourly rate, accounting for these premiums on a 12-hour shift, ranges from $48.46 to $73.91.
