About the role

The Residential Generalist provides administrative support to the Residential team in functions such as People and Culture, Purchasing, vendor management and supports event planning for internal and owner-facing functions. Additionally, they respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum employee and resident satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons' guidelines and policies.

What you will do

  • Partner with department leaders to manage recruitment processes, including posting jobs, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews 

  • Ensure smooth onboarding and orientation for new hires, maintaining compliance with company standards 

  • Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations 

  • Assist with benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries 

  • Support the implementation of People & Culture programs that foster a positive work environment aligned with Four Seasons’ Golden Rule philosophy. 

  • Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities and recognition programs 

  • Monitor and support the performance review process, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational goals 

  • Conduct audits of HR processes and documentation to maintain accuracy and compliance 

  • Collaborate with the Director of Residences and the Director People & Culture (not on property) on initiatives related to workforce planning, talent development, and organizational culture 

  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to improve processes and employee satisfaction 

  • Provide Birchstreet (or other systems) support in validating the receiving of POs. Assist in checking incoming goods against delivery orders and invoices and purchase records to ensure that the type, amount, price and quality of items received are correct 

  • Work with Security, Engineering and Residential Services to ensure all products ordered and received are accounted for through accurate record keeping as indicated by the Purchasing division's local and corporate policies, rules, internal controls and procedures

  • Assist property leadership in the accurate record keeping of inventories and purchasing forecasts 

  • Support Security and Residential Services teams with vendor management and scheduling as needed while maintaining the highest level of business integrity in dealing with vendors and delivery persons and processes 

  • Provide planning support to the Residential Services team for HOA activations and owner events 

What you bring

  • Fluent in English, reading and writing 

  • Secondary education or equivalent experience 

  • Experience required by position is from 1 to 2 years of employment in the related position with Four Seasons or other organization 

  • Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job or through a series of professional certifications or Four Seasons training courses. 

  • Ability to work all shifts 

  • Good verbal and written communication skills are required.  Ability to communicate with a diverse team of employees, homeowners, visitors, and vendors 

  • Computer skills including typing/word processing experience and the ability to work off devices and computer programs 

  • Able to work with minimal supervision and be pro-active in their approach to problem resolution 

  • Able to lift 20-lbs regularly

  • Full Time availability

  • Flexible for early morning, mid-day, and evening shifts in order to support 24/7 operational business needs
