Reservations Supervisor

A Reservations Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the call center Reservations Agents, ensuring efficient booking procedures, high customer service standards (Forbes QA Standards), and maximum revenue. They train, develop, schedule, and motivate staff while resolving complex guest inquiries.

Core Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Supervises, coaches, and trains reservation agents to meet performance goals and company standards.
  • Customer Service: Handles escalated guest concerns, special requests, and ensures a positive, efficient booking experience.
  • Reporting: Prepares daily/weekly reports on agent performance
  • Coaching Sessions: Meets with staff weekly to go over strengths and opportunities and ensure Forbes Quality Standards and performance metrics are being met.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience: Usually requires 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role or similar.
  • Skills: Strong communication, coaching, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • System Knowledge: Proficiency in computer general applications.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in hospitality is a plus.
  • Typical Tasks
  • Coaching and developing Reservations Agents to high performance in Forbes Quality Assurance
  • Conduct performance reviews and coaching/training sessions.
  • Reviewing daily performance and handling detailed reservations related issues.
  • Communicating with staff as well as the management team.
