We seek a highly motivated Research Fellow to reverse engineer microstructured composite materials with novel combinations of structural and functional properties, using both simulations for machine learning and experimental validation. Fabrication tools and methods are already established in our laboratory.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct experiments, simulations, and modeling as part of the research activities, and regularly present your results to the group.
Contribute to laboratory management, mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students, and collaborate with other research teams.
Publish high-quality scientific papers and presenting work at international conferences.
Job Requirements:
PhD in Materials Science or Mechanical Engineering (or related), with experience in both experimental work and artificial intelligence.
Strong research record, demonstrated excellence in research, and motivation for collaborative work are required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a well-organized manner.
