Established in 2010, the Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N) is a pan-university research institute that focuses on systems-level research for tropical megacities. It performs translational research that covers the energy value chain from generation to innovative end-use solutions, motivated by industrialisation and deployment. ERI@N has multiple Interdisciplinary Research Programmes which focus on translational Research, Development & Deployment which focus on specific area of the energy value chain, and a number of Living labs and Testbeds which facilitate large scale technology deployment enabling validation and demonstration of real-world applications.

To support the research progress on Perovskite Thermal evaporation and its integration with tandem solar cells. The RE/RA will support the overall development of novel materials and structures based on perovskites
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out a wet chemistry experiment for materials synthesis
Carry out vacuum-based deposition of organic and inorganic materials
Fabricate Solar Cell Devices
Analysis and characterization of thin film materials
Analysis and testing of solar cells
Collaboration with the Solar Research Team
Job Requirements:
Possess Bachelor's or master’s degree in Physics or Material Science or Engineering.
Experience in Perovskite materials and solar cells
Expert in Perovskite Thermal Evaporation Good interpersonal skills.
Excellent teamwork awareness.
Good communication and writing in English - essential for data analysis and communication with stakeholders
Strong responsibility for research/work.
