The position is based at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), within a research team focusing on wireless power transfer and high-frequency power electronics systems. The team is engaged in the development of advanced power conversion technologies and system prototypes for industrial and emerging applications.
The Research Associate will support the final phase of a research project, with the key purpose of system integration, experimental validation, prototype refinement, and demonstration of a wireless power transfer system.
Key Responsibilities:
Integrate hardware, control, and communication components to realize the final prototype system
Conduct experimental testing, including efficiency, thermal, and reliability evaluations
Optimize system performance and improve robustness and stability
Develop and implement testing protocols and measurement setups
Perform data collection, analysis, and technical evaluation
Support system preparation for final demonstration and potential deployment
Assist in technical documentation, reporting, and presentation preparation
Job Requirements:
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field
Strong background in power electronics, wireless power transfer, or high-frequency systems
Hands-on experience with hardware prototyping, testing, and instrumentation
Familiarity with circuit design, control systems, and experimental validation
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a research team
