Institute For Digital Molecular Analytics & Science (IDMxS) is a unique interdisciplinary Research Centre of Excellence (RCE), funded by National Research Foundation, Ministry of Education (Singapore), Nanyang Technological University and National University of Singapore. Hosted by NTU, the Research Associate will be involved in a programme aiming at the development of novel formulations for anti-infective conjugated oligoelectrolytes (COE) antibiotics as an alternative or additional means for antimicrobial therapy.
We are looking for a Research Associate to support the evaluation of COE antibiotics in vitro and in vivo. Both safety and efficacy will be evaluated.
Key Responsibilities:
Support research projects.
Formulate COE antibiotics into nanoparticles for localized lung delivery.
Evaluate the efficacy and safety of novel formulations of COE antibiotics in vitro.
Manage general laboratory operations, including daily administrative tasks and other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator.
Requirements:
Masters in Biological/ Biomedical Sciences or related field, with expertise in bacteriology or infectious diseases (BSL-2).
Minimum 1 year experience as Research Assistant.
Proficiency in tissue culture, bacteriology, molecular biology.
Experience with nanoparticle formulation and animal study is preferrable.
