The Laboratory of Dr. Zhao-Hui (Joe) Song Zhao-hui Song, PhD — School of Medicine University of Louisville has one full-time Research Assistant II position at the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, School of Medicine. The position will assist in pharmacological experiments studying the mechanisms of actions and potential therapeutic effects of cannabinoids and other drugs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in ordering lab supplies and maintain lab operations.
Assist in experiments using both cell culture and animal models, assist in collecting data and perform routine data analysis under the supervision of principal investigator.
Assist in search of scientific literature, prepare proposals/protocols for experiments, and prepare manuscripts for publications.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry or neuroscience.
6 month’s relevant lab experience.
