JOB SUMMARY

Are you looking for a fantastic career at Aqua? We have a great opportunity for a Reporting Administrator I! This person will report to our Customer Care Supervisor and is responsible for consumption reporting administrative support, receiving, and responding to various municipalities inquiries in reference to consumption reporting and account status on specific customer accounts.

The position work to support excellent customer service with research and responses to various municipalities’ inquiries received via email to Aqua with a detailed focus on providing specific customer account billing, reading, consumption, and account status information. Includes retrieving files, formatting reports, moving files to specific folders, and emailing the final output to recipient municipalities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Acquire competence as required in the reading and interpretation of Aqua’s Customer Information System (CIS) environment including the following applications and data:
    • Banner (CIS)
    • Consumption calculation on service history
    • AMRA Lookup (Meter Reading Interface)
    • Meter Reading and configurations
    • Address search and matching for premises in Banner.
    • GIS Lookup
    • Service History interpretation/communication: Move in- Move out, Meter exchange, Canceled bills, Final bills, Catch up billed usage, dates, and days of service, Days of service.
  • Support customer account research and account changes communication to municipalities.
  • Work with all tasks and service requirements detailed in the municipal agreements for usage reporting. Understanding of all relevant customer account questions.
  • Query in Banner and understand the service order types and how they affect the account status and usage on a specific account. Interpret notes and service order activity.
  • Understand, interpret, and explain the various reports and files that are sent to the municipalities for usage reporting.
  • Support the preparation and emailing of the reports and files that are shared with the various wastewater authorities at the municipalities, including managed wastewater billing authorities.
  • Assist in the communication process regarding any interpretation of account service history and billing history on specific accounts as requested by various wastewater authorities.
  • Assist with investigating escalated municipal request issues, taking ownership for follow-up with Customer Operations or Field Operations if needed.
  • Assists with other tasks or projects as assigned.  
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills; communicate effectively (clearly, concisely and professionally) with internal customers
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A team player able to work effectively in a team fostered multi-tasking environment       

   

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Perform sedentary work- exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
