Job Description
As a Release Coordinator (Civil Works), oversees the Release and Handover process related to Commissioning for Architectural, Utilities, and Civil activities for the stations and elevated guideway. Coordinate activities and deliverables with stakeholders like Construction, Design, Quality, V&V, Metrolinx, TTC, City of Toronto, ECLRT and Toronto Hydro (Third Parties). Oversee the reporting documents, check and validate versions, and prepare the submission package to the owner (Upload and Download information). Ensure that the Commissioning (Civil activities) meet all safety, functionality, and sustainability requirements, contributing to the successful delivery of the project including the evidence for the Requirement Traceability Verification Matrix.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and validate with designers, architects, engineers, stakeholders, contractors, and subcontractors the deliverables (Final Version) related to Civil activities based on the DMCA to provide achievement evidence for the Requirement Traceability Verification Matrix (RTVM).
Tracking and collect evidence for the Requirements and Commissioning Traceability Matrix related to Civil activities.
Coordinate and assist Release Manager on the activities related to Release Strategy, Release Management Plans and Release Reports.
Tracking the meeting minutes and update the TGP completion actions for Steering Meeting (RSSOM, OTG and CA).
Coordinate the release documentation, handover information and training for stakeholders which including Architectural and Civil Documentation, Manuals, and Procedures.
Tracking and control the technical comments on civil and commissioning report and accurate feedback including the deficiency list.
Generate the reports for Commissioning - Release information.
Taking the notes for minutes and following up all items ensuring all of them being addressed and closed in timely manner.
Datamining and data analysis for Commissioning documents (Construction Industry).
Coordinate the project team workshops, meeting minutes and ensure the completion actions.
Prepare and present regular progress reports, including updates on timelines, release progress, document status, and any issues encountered.
Facilitate meetings to review progress and address any concerns related to release activities to CA.
Perform other related duties as assigned, promoting a positive team environment and a culture of collaboration.
Work Conditions:
Able to perform in a fast-paced environment, under different weather and environmental conditions.
Office-based: At North York Next to Science Centre.
Site – Based: all areas of 3 km elevated guideway and all five stations and other facilities as per DMCA executive version
Required Skills and Competencies
Previous experience in Release and Handover activities on Major Projects.
Bachelor’s degree in civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in construction in transit stations.
Previous experience on Commissioning Railway or LRT infrastructure and interfaces (Work Packages). is preferable
Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite and Smartsheet.
Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. A positive attitude and a collaborative spirit, with a focus on achieving project goals and enhancing team performance.
