Job Summary

Job Description

Sales and Service

  • Spend a minimum of 75% of available time visiting with customers and targets

  • Work with specialists like Trade Finance and Treasury to maximize sale of these products to customers

  • Deal with, and find resolutions for, customer complaints.

  • Determine the products that are most effective in meeting customer’s needs and be able to sell these, at short notice, both reactively and proactively.

  • Produce call reports in agreed formats for all scheduled significant business meetings, these should be filed in the call memo section of the customer credit file.

  • Assist with development of and revisions to Customer Relationship Plan.

  • Arrange and undertake product presentations where appropriate.

  • Develop and maintain links with local business community.

Business Management

  • Research, create and follow up on a target list for potential new business.

  • Identify priority customers using the Customer Relationship Plan to assess their present and potential contribution.

  • Maintain a high standard of operational control including adherence to Risk Management Control Document (RMCD) guidelines, KYC & STM procedures and other bank policies

  • Ensure all accounts within portfolio are linked on CID and data held comply with the Bank standards

  • Assist with creation of Credit Applications.

  • Develop and maintain links with local business community.

Staff Management

  • Coaching and development of Corporate Managers’ Assistant and Customer Service Assistants.

  • Ensure that subordinated are providing consistent service quality and risk within risk framework.

  • PD for subordinate staff.

Preferred Education:

  • Marketing and sales
  • ACIB
  • ACCA
  • CIMA
  • Degree holder


Preferred Experience: 

  • Degree with minimum 5 years relevance experience or equivalent of 8 years bank related experience

Bachelors Degree and Professional Qualifications: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
