Job Title: Registered Veterinary Nurse (Maternity cover)

Location: Wear Referrals, TS21 2ES

Job Type: Fixed-term contract for 12 months

Hours: Part time, full time would be considered,

Ideally working 3 days per week, minimum 24 hours per week. Would consider full time also.

Shifts covered between hours of 7.30am and 7.30pm with 1.5 weekends out of 6 weeks.

We are looking for a passionate RVN to join our dedicated nursing team, working primarily within our Internal Medicine team; working alongside specialists and dedicated nurses covering medicine procedures and inpatient care, Oncology, Cardiology and ICU.

Our hospital is staffed by highly skilled RVN's 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to provide referral level and emergency and critical care to our patients. If you are looking for an extremely rewarding and fulfilling career this position may be of interest to you.

About you

  • Is an Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with minimum 1 years experience
  • Excellent social and clinical skills
  • Passionate about animal care & welfare
  • Experience working within a referral setting preferred, or willingness to learn new clinical skills
  • Has a Right to Work in the UK

Our team consists of over 60 Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVN) working alongside specialists in Anaesthesia, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Soft Tissue, Orthopaedics, Diagnostic Imaging and Neurology. We have also have a dedicated night team.
