Employment Term: Part Time Opportunities 

Location: located opposite Roma St Parklands, St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital is just a short walk to Brisbane city 

Remuneration: $42.50 - $54.62/ hr + 12% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

Your part in our St Andrews War Memorial Hospital team 

 

As part of our PACU team, you will accountable for the provision of safe and holistic care to individuals undergoing a range of procedures, applying best clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment for optimal patient outcomes.  

 

You’ll deliver exceptional person-centred care by working collaboratively with your multidisciplinary Theatre team, applying exceptional communication and team work skills. 

 

What makes a difference for us? 

  • Bachelor of Nursing Degree or equivalent

  • Current AHPRA practicing certificate as a Registered Nurse and/ Midwifery

  • A commitment toward the mission of UnitingCare Hospitals and the attainment of the goals of the Nursing Division.

  • Prepared to comply with and uphold the terms and conditions of employment for nursing staff as per the relevant UnitingCare Health Enterprise Agreement.

  • Comply with the UnitingCare Code of Conduct.

  • Demonstrates application of the principles of clinical and workplace risk management.

  • Applies sound clinical practice which ensures a safe environment and promotes optimal patient health.

  • Effectively exchanges information regarding patient responses to treatment and nursing care.

  • Achieves optimum patient care through effective collaboration with other health professionals and coordination of care.

  • Undertake other duties as required/directed as service needs change or grow, consistent with the above and within the scope of the position and any other legal or industrial obligations.

  • Pediatric experience essential.
