Registered Manager - Children and Young People

Liquid Personnel is recruiting Registered Manager for its client's Children and Young People Team at Nottinghamshire.
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Manager in a reputable, established multi-home organisation. You will hold overall responsibility for day-to-day management of the Children’s Home and accountable for the delivery of a high quality of service provision, incorporating care, welfare, safety and security of all children and young people in their care in order for them to achieve a secure base. Supporting, leading and managing a team of staff who will provide protection and support the children with their physical, psychological, emotional & social development. The home is an existing home with a Good Ofsted Rating.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Reporting to the Operations Manager and with the support of an Assistant Manager, you will effectively and efficiently manage a Multi-Building Registration.
  • Responsible for the leadership, management, and operation of your service, supporting children and young people.
  • Through your positive outlook and ability to see beyond behaviours work towards the progression and development of the children we look after
  • Set the operational direction and organise the effective running of the service to meet its statement of purpose.
  • Mentor and support residential support workers to be the best they can be
  • Work in partnership with external agencies

Benefits:

  • Benefits: 32 days A/L which includes Bank Holidays- this will increase by a day for the first 3 years
  • Ofsted Bonus: £3000 for an ‘Outstanding’ report and £1500 for a ‘Good’ report
  • Other: Company car/ travel allowance of £3000 pa
  • Occupancy: Full occupancy- £300 per month 

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have, 

  • A Level 5 in Leadership and management (Children and Young People)
  • Good knowledge around Children’s Homes regulations (2015), Children’s Homes Regulations including the quality standards
  • At least 3 years’ experience within a children’s residential homes and 1 years’ experience at a Senior level
  • A Full UK driving licence
