Job Description
The Regional Technical Consultant provides technical and scientific support to customers and internal commercial teams, supporting the effective use of dairy technology solutions at farm level.
This role focuses on technical assistance, on‑farm support, and learning‑based consulting, working under the guidance of more senior technical colleagues. The position contributes to customer satisfaction, technology adoption, and regional commercial objectives through structured technical support and continuous skill development.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Product Support
Build a solid working knowledge of dairy technology solutions, including product functionality, basic data interpretation, and practical farm applications.
On‑Farm Technical Assistance
Support farm visits together with senior colleagues to assist customers in using technology solutions effectively within their daily routines.
Customer Technical Support
Respond to customer technical questions related to product usage and functionality, using CRM tools and established support processes.
Support Product Launches and Pilots
Participate in new product launches and pilot projects by supporting installations, training activities, and feedback collection.
Collaboration with Sales and Customer Success Teams
Provide technical input to commercial teams to support customer discussions and ensure appropriate use of technology solutions.
Learning and Knowledge Development
Actively participate in internal trainings, certifications, and knowledge‑sharing initiatives to build technical expertise.
Documentation and Feedback
Accurately document customer interactions and collect structured feedback to support continuous product and service improvement.
Compliance
Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, local regulations, and Code of Conduct.
Qualifications
University degree in animal science, zootechnics, agriculture, technical studies, information technology (IT), or a related field.
Advanced degree or specialization is an advantage but not required at P1 level
Experience & Skills
0–3 years of experience in a technical, agricultural, or customer‑facing role
Basic understanding of dairy production systems (reproduction, cow health, nutrition, milk quality)
Strong willingness to learn and develop technical expertise
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow structured processes
Basic technical aptitude and interest in digital and monitoring solutions
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Willingness to travel (up to ~60%)
English: good written and verbal communication skills
Basic familiarity with CRM or similar tools is an advantage
