PT Boeing IndonesiaThe Boeing Global Enterprise Sustainability team is seeking a Regional Programme Management Specialist for Southeast Asia. This role will help to develop and lead the execution of Boeing’s sustainability programmes in the region, alongside Boeing’s Asia Pacific Sustainability team. In this capacity the role will develop, advocate for and execute sustainability initiatives, policies, and partnerships across Southeast Asia together with airlines, trade associations, intergovernmental organizations, government agencies and industry stakeholders. In addition, this role will support the coordination of regional deliverables and alignment with global leadership. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in sustainability partnership execution, policy advocacy, customer engagement and public engagement. The candidate will be a member of the Global Sustainability Engagement and Partnerships organisation and will report to the Head of Sustainability Engagement and Partnerships – Asia Pacific.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage existing partnership programmes throughout Southeast Asia, working with Boeing and external stakeholders.
In partnership with the Southeast Asia Sustainability Lead, develop and implement the regional sustainability strategy, ensuring alignment with Boeing's overall sustainability goals.
Further Boeing’s sustainability presence in Indonesia, including through engagement with government stakeholders
Assist in developing new executable projects and programmes.
Develop strategic messaging efforts as well as undertake external engagements to promote sustainability initiatives in lockstep with internal and external stakeholder expectations.
Foster and uphold relationships with key stakeholders including airlines, governments, industry partners and NGOs to advance Boeing's sustainability agenda in the region.
Develop sustainability policy strategies to advocate with Boeing Global (BG) that support the acceleration and scaling of critical technologies related to Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), carbon dioxide removal (CDR), and book-and-claim mechanisms, working across the entire value chain from financiers and policymakers to technology providers and end-users.
Coordinate and support administrative responsibilities for the APAC team, including tracking events and meetings, drafting reports and obtaining internal approvals.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
A proactive approach to independently advancing initiatives while effectively managing expectations across a diverse range of stakeholders.
Strong background and understanding of the Southeast Asia public sector and/or sustainability landscape, including experience managing relationships with local government officials.
Experience executing and developing multi-stakeholder aviation and/or sustainability events and partnerships.
A collaborative attitude and excellent communication skills to balance multiple stakeholder requirements, resolve contentious issues, and develop opportunities.
Broad knowledge of environmental and sustainability issues, including the policy and regulatory environment, as well as current and future carbon emissions incentive mechanisms or mandates in Southeast Asia that impact industries.
A global perspective and experience working with diverse teams and viewpoints.
Strong presentation skills, with the ability to create, deliver, and share persuasive messages representing Boeing to internal and external stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in environmental studies, public policy, business development, or sustainability
Deep understanding of various cultures and business practices across Southeast Asia
Proven ability to develop and deliver a portfolio of projects with multiple partners
Proven track record in effective stakeholder management
Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia with strong writing, presentation, and advocacy skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher in an environmental technical field, public policy, or related field; advanced degree preferred
APM or similar project management qualification or relevant experience
Strong understanding of environmental and sustainability principles and best practices
Prior knowledge or experience in the aerospace/aviation industry is a good plus.
