Regional Sales Operations Manager PCV, Africa

Job Purpose


The Regional Sales Operations is accountable for supporting and executing the global sales operating system within the PCV business. The
role is solely responsible for the regional translation and execution of global sales enablement strategies within the assigned region. Focuses
on improving sales readiness, engagement effectiveness and adoption of processes and systems.


Daily responsibilities include the localized roll-out of processes, tools, governance, and cadence that enable FLS to execute all sales activities
with consistency and transparency within the region. The scope spans CRM compliance, account planning, sales drumbeat, reporting, and
capability building to the regional needs. Works cross-functionally with regional sales, product, marketing and global enablement. Balances
delivery of training, CRM adoption, content localization and feedback gathering.

Responsibilities

  • Partner and act as key strategic and operating partner with Region Heads and regional sales leaders on mine targeting and prioritization,aligning Sales Operations activities and overall growth priorities.
  • Assumes primary responsibility for the implementation of global strategy regionally, while establishing and enforcing the regional sales cadence to align with the global cadence. This includes regional drumbeat meetings, with standardized agendas, outputs, and follow-through.
  • Indirectly manages teams to deliver account planning processes and outcomes while delivering training and conducting reviews according to global standards, ensuring customer strategies are consistently aligned with the global objectives.
  • Oversees implementation of install base documentation and tools, working closely with the SIOP and regional execution teams to translate insights into service strategies that improve customer responsiveness and availability within the region.
  • Drives capability building, including training on account planning, CRM usage, and commercial skills, while leading change management programs to support adoption of new processes and tools.
  • Partners with Region Heads and Growth Office to track and indirectly manage Growth Plan initiatives, provide regular reporting, and escalate risks and corrective actions.
  • As part of the PCV Growth effort, support initiative owners to define, size and build implementation plans for sales enablement growth initiatives focused and assist in their progression through the L1-L5 stage gates.
  • Delivers training and coaching on comprehensive Sales Operations dashboards and analytics

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in sales operations, commercial excellence, or business management roles within industrial
  • equipment; mining industry experience highly valued.
  • Track record leading cross-functional initiatives including process transformation and digital tool deployment.
  • Strong project and stakeholder management with excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • High competence in CRM systems, analytics, and visualization tools (D365, Power BI, Excel).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel to sites, sub-regions and globally

Location: Stormill JHB, frequent travel to Ghana
