About your job 

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager who will also serve as the legal Director for PMT Premier Machine Tools LIMITED  in Ireland. You will own the regional sales strategy and deliver profitable growth while leading and developing a high-performing sales team. In the Director capacity, you will represent Seco Tools/PMT in Ireland, ensuring strong governance, compliance with local regulations, and effective collaboration with regional and global stakeholders. 

You develop, manage, implement, and monitor all activities belonging to your area of responsibility and lead your sales team to deliver on the following:

  • Further Develop and execute a clear sales strategy to grow revenue, market share and profitability across Ireland. 

  • Lead, coach and develop the sales team; set clear goals, monitor performance and drive a culture of success.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners; ensure outstanding customer experience.

  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline and forecasts; adjust plans based on trends, opportunities and risks.

  • Ensure efficient budget management across the region (fees, trials, demos) and enforce disciplined use of resources. 

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Operations and Customer Service to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions. 

  • Act as Seco brand ambassador, upholding our Code of Conduct, values and principles in all interactions. 

  • As a Director, ensure legal entity compliance, health & safety, and effective local governance; represent PMT/Seco Tools with authorities, industry bodies and the local community. 

You’re a proactive and valued member of the North-West Europe Sales Management team & Local UK/IRL Leadership Team and report to our Market Manager UK/IRL. The location for this position is Kildare, Ireland . Remote working type will be Hybrid. 

You bring the following skills, personal traits, and interests:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Business or related field (or equivalent experience). 

  • 5–7 years of successful industrial sales experience (ideally metal cutting/manufacturing services) with strong technical understanding of machining processes and tooling applications. 

  • 3–5 years of leadership experience, including coaching and developing sales professionals. 

  • Proven consultative/value-based selling skills and solid CRM proficiency. 

  • Strong analytical ability; comfortable with data-driven decisions and KPI management. 

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; fluent English (additional European language is an advantage). 

  • High flexibility and willingness to travel within the region. 

  • Experience in the machine tool sales and service industry a benefit 

  • Fluency in English, verbally and in writing.

  • Candidates must have the right to work in Ireland
