As a Regional Sales Director, you play a pivotal role in driving life and living benefits sales across multiple distribution networks. You are a visible ambassador for Desjardins Insurance, representing the organization at industry conferences, field offices, and key regional events while strengthening our presence in the market. Working closely with advisors and field partners, you lead the development of life insurance sales by promoting innovative solutions, delivering compelling sales concepts, and helping identify the right outcomes for clients. Your ability to influence, educate, and build trust enables sustained growth across your territory. You bring strong presentation and communication skills, paired with exceptional interpersonal abilities. You are known for building and nurturing high-impact relationships with advisors and partners, and you have a proven track record of successfully developing and expanding sales territories. With a specialization in life and living benefits, you excel at promoting solutions and building long-term business partnerships that drive performance and loyalty. This role covers the Ottawa (Eastern Ontario) and Atlantic Canada supporting key MGA partners and DFSIN Financial centre contributing to the sales growth within the key territory. More specifically, you will be required to:
Promote and sell life and living benefits products and develop business relationships across various networks
Drive sales of life and living benefits products across the MGA partners and DFSIN network.
Consistently meet or exceed established sales targets.
Cultivate and strengthen relationships with MGA partners and DFSIN network.
Collaborate within a high-performing team environment to execute strategic initiatives.
Leverage digital tools and software platforms to analyze data, identify trends, and grow sales.
Represent Desjardins Insurance at key industry and regional events.

What you bring to the table
Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of seven years of relevant experience (life insurance industry, and in wholesaling)
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Holds an LLQP license
Holds CPA, CFP, CLU or relevant designations
Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
Advanced knowledge of the carriers, regulatory issues, and trends within the industry
Available for travel in the Ottawa /Eastern Ontario and Atlantic Canada
Must have a valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle
