We are seeking a Regional Quality Advisor to support our Northern Region (Newcastle, Ballina, Byron Bay, Port Macquarie, Hawks Nest & Dungog). This role plays a key part in strengthening our quality and clinical governance systems across the region, ensuring our residents and clients receive safe, high‑quality care every day.

Base location is flexible, with a minimum of three days per week onsite within the region.

What you will be doing:

  • Champion and cultivate a high‑performing, quality‑focused culture across the region.

  • Lead the implementation and ongoing improvement of the RSL LifeCare Clinical Governance and Quality Frameworks.

  • Support local teams to effectively engage with and utilise the RSL LifeCare Quality Management Systems.

  • Monitor compliance activities, including audit schedules, and ensure timely resolution of identified issues.

  • Prepare and coordinate responses to external bodies such as the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission.

  • Contribute to national clinical governance initiatives, review best‑practice approaches, and recommend strategies to enhance care quality and effectiveness.
     

About You:

  • A bachelor’s degree in nursing, health, quality management or a related discipline.

  • At least 3 years’ experience in quality management within health or aged care.

  • The ability to travel interstate when required.

  • Strong relationship‑building skills with internal and external stakeholders.

  • High‑level interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to support and guide managers through change.

  • Demonstrated experience in quality management, regulatory compliance and team development.
