The Outside Alcohol Sales and Emerging Business Sales teams are paving the way for DoorDash’s next billion-dollar businesses. Stationed across the country, these teams build and scale strategic partnerships with top local and mid-market merchants across our non-restaurant lines of business. This includes a diverse and growing suite of offerings such as Alcohol (Marketplace & Self-Delivery), Hemp, Channel Partners, and new emerging categories.
As the revenue-driving arm of DoorDash, these teams accelerate the expansion of our merchant partnerships—strengthening operations, driving customer growth, and improving DoorDash’s bottom line. They are often the first to test, launch, and scale new products, making them critical to DoorDash’s long-term success.
We are looking for a Regional Merchant Lead to establish partnerships with top local and mid-market merchants across strategic markets within DoorDash’s New Verticals. Merchant selection is central to DoorDash’s growth: the more high-quality merchants we onboard, the faster we attract new customers, retain existing ones, and increase conversion.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of selling and building. As DoorDash continues to expand into new lines of business, the Regional Merchant Lead will grow selection in emerging categories, drive customer adoption, and shape go-to-market strategies. Product focus may shift quarter-to-quarter with the opportunity to launch additional new products as they become ready for scale.
