We are seeking a talented individual to join our Regional Mercer Marsh Benefits team at Marsh. This role will be based in Singapore or Hong Kong. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB) Regional Facility & Voluntary Solutions Leader is responsible for developing and driving the broader MMB Facility and Voluntary Solutions strategy and client value proposition across Asia.

The position requires you own and drive the strategy to deliver accelerated growth for the entire MMB Facility Solutions across the region.  This role requires you to work with in country MMB leaders, placement leaders, new business and client servicing colleagues to build out the overall MMB Facility Value proposition to increase country conversion of clients into facility solutions as well as develop new solutions to support digital facilitation.

The success of this role will require building a strong network among MMB countries and insurers to drive Facility growth, launch new solutions, increase cross-sell penetration, drive new revenue streams, supporting additional placement revenue.

The second core focus of this leadership role requires the development and implementation of individual voluntary solutions strategy for MMB across Asia.  Developing a multiyear roadmap which would include market leading individual insurance products across Health, Life and GI bringing the best of MMC solutions to distribute to the employees and their dependents of our MMB corporate clients.

We will count on you to:

  • Work with the MMB APAC Placement Leader to develop and execute the facility strategy across Asia, which involves senior level engagement including Segment Leadership, Specialty Leadership and Country Leadership Teams.
  • Collaborate closely with all other regions to leverage best of facility solutions and follow global practices with regular engagement with International MMB Facility Leader.
  • Provide critical insights and information to carrier partners across Asia to ensure our facility strategy is understood and MMB is receiving the necessary support to succeed.
  • Evaluate efficiency of all regional and country solutions and implement actions to lapse, consolidate or expand existing facility solutions
  • Manage frameworks and systems for capturing transaction level placement information for facility solutions to partner with carriers to optimize operational efficiencies.
  • Develop and partner on potential facility initiatives with our P&C commercial and corporate teams to maximize facility penetration across Asia.
  • Work with the MMB APAC Placement Leader to develop and lead the execution of the MMB Voluntary Solutions Strategy.
  • Responsible for achieving MMB Voluntary Solutions financial targets
  • Develop MMB Voluntary Solutions capabilities across Asia.

What you need to have:

  • Degree from a recognized university and meet any minimum regulatory registration requirements.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the insurance industry, with extensive experience in Employee Benefits, ideally in Facility and Voluntary Solutions development and leadership roles.
  • Strong placement operation experience, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in placement across product, operations, and carrier management.
