SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
As the Regional Customer Group Manager - Energy, you will improve the MEIA regional market position and profitability of Marine and Protective Coatings within the assigned Customer Group by identifying, signing, and developing key customers to build robust, profitable, and strategic partnerships. Your efforts will strengthen customer relationships and ensure Jotun has a competent, engaged, and enabled salesforce by implementing customer management tools, methods, and guidelines. This will support the regional Performance Coatings strategy and contribute to achieving local, regional, and global targets.Responsibilities
Develop and manage key customer relationships by understanding their needs, market, and strategy to position Jotun as a preferred supplier and ensure profitable, sustainable relationships.
Lead the network by setting clear targets and monitoring performance to support engagement and enablement of sales teams across the region.
Grow Jotun's market position by overseeing projects and monitoring performance to ensure cost efficiency and profitable outcomes.
Implement and execute the strategic response for the customer group by establishing policies, tools, and guidelines, and ensuring effective communication with the regional and local network.
Prioritize and develop key accounts by establishing activity plans and sharing best practices to ensure resources are used effectively in line with Jotun’s long-term strategy and profitability.
Ensure the regional sales force is competent by identifying skill gaps and creating a learning environment that supports flexible, on-demand training to enable the team to meet targets and goals.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER
What We Look for
Bachelor's degree in Sales or Chemical Engineering.
5+ years of relevant experience in Oil , Gas and Power market.
Proven track record in managing and developing customer relationships, with a deep understanding of client specifications.
Strong leadership skills, with experience in setting targets and supporting sales teams.
