The Job:  

As the C&I Segment Manager at Stanley Black & Decker is responsible for overseeing and advancing our engagement and penetration in the construction and industrial sectors across Latin America. This role requires a strategic leader who will maintain and expand market share by delivering comprehensive solutions, mastering key applications, and cultivating deep partnerships with major contractors and end users.

You’ll get to:  

  • Develop and implement strategies to expand penetration in targeted segments, ensuring increased market share through comprehensive solution selling.
  • Master key applications within each segment or project, moving towards sub-segmentation to refine the product portfolio specific to each sub-vertical.
  • Strengthen relationships with end users, positioning our brand as a productivity and safety partner.
  • Strengthen relationships with large contractors at the headquarters level to anticipate their needs and future projects.
  • Develop and execute playbooks, engaging materials, and training programs tailored to the needs of key accounts, ensuring holistic solutions across all their projects.
  • Facilitate custom solutions at the job site level to enhance contractor productivity and project outcomes.
  • Measure and enhance team productivity through continuous tracking and analysis of demonstrations, target achievements, and new product launches.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive actions, and potential opportunities for growth or re-allocation of resources.
  • Develop new data sources and integrate existing ones to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Manage the dissemination of product information, training, and selling resources to the sales force to optimize performance on the job site.
  • Enhance direct communication with end users about our industrial portfolio and comprehensive solutions.
  • Coordinate participation in trade shows and tailor personalized events and fairs to strengthen relationships with major contractors.

  • Proven experience in strategic sales, business development, or marketing within the construction or industrial sectors.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to drive team performance in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and commercial intelligence.
  • Fluency in English is required, Portuguese is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering,   Marketing, Business, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Advanced Excel & Power Point
  • Experience working with CRM (Sales Force)
