ASPICE SPECIALIST (Automotive SPICE)
The candidate must demonstrate strong working knowledge of ASPICE Level processes and their practical implementation within a semiconductor functional safety environment, including:
Process Knowledge:
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with ASPICE process groups:
• SYS.1 – SYS.5 (System Requirements, Architecture, Integration, Verification, Validation)
• SWE.1 – SWE.6 (Software Requirements, Architecture, Design, Unit Verification, Integration, Qualification)
• SUP.1 – SUP.10 (Configuration Management, Change Management, Verification, Validation, Quality Assurance, Problem Resolution)
• MAN.3 / MAN.5 (Project Management, Risk Management)
• Experience in implementing capability level 2 & 3 practices (Managed and Established processes).
Process Implementation & Compliance:
• Ability to define, tailor, and deploy ASPICE-compliant development processes for:
• Requirements engineering
• Architecture and design
• Verification and validation
• Change and configuration management
• Establish and maintain process documentation, templates, guidelines, and work products per ASPICE expectations.
• Ensure bidirectional traceability across:
• System → Safety → Hardware → Software → Test artifacts.
Assessment & Audit Readiness:
• Hands-on experience preparing projects for:
• ASPICE Level 2 / Level 3 assessments
• Internal and external process audits
• Experience supporting:
• Evidence generation
• Gap analysis
• Corrective action plans for assessment findings.
• Ability to interpret assessment results and drive continuous process improvement.
Toolchain & Work Products:
• Experience with ASPICE-aligned toolchains:
• Knowledge of required ASPICE work products:
• Project plans, risk plans
• Requirements specifications
• Architecture and design descriptions
• Verification strategies and reports
• Traceability matrices
Integration of ASPICE with Functional Safety:
• Strong understanding of alignment between ASPICE and ISO 26262:
• Mapping of ASPICE SYS/SWE processes to functional safety lifecycle
• Integration of safety requirements into system and software processes
• Support of confirmation measures using ASPICE-compliant evidence
• Experience ensuring Freedom from Interference (FFI) using ASPICE-compliant architectural and verification practices.
Process Improvement & Mentoring:
• Coach engineering teams on ASPICE practices
• Drive process adoption and discipline across projects
• Support organizational process maturity growth.
