Regional Account Manager – Nephrology – Region Stuttgart

In this role, you will lead the Stuttgart region by engaging nephrology centres and hospital networks, connecting clinical needs to solutions that make a tangible difference for patients and their care teams.

Accountabilities:


Strategic Territory Leadership: Analyse the Stuttgart region to detect and develop relevant centres for rare diseases in nephrology, shaping a clear plan to expand appropriate access and impact.
Relationship Development with HCPs and Hospitals: Establish and maintain valuable relationships with office-based and hospital nephrologists, related specialties, pharmacists, nurses, and hospital personnel.
Education and Value Creation: Provide educational and commercial services to physicians and relevant pharmacies; plan, organize, and execute local educational sessions for healthcare professionals.
Ethical Selling Excellence: Sell designated products within legal boundaries, aligned with the marketing and sales strategy, ensuring patient-centric engagement and compliance.
Cross-Functional Account Management: Collaborate actively with marketing, medical science liaisons, diagnostics/lab services, and market access/compliance colleagues to deliver integrated account plans and solutions.
Data-Driven Reporting and CRM: Ensure timely, complete reporting; accurately maintain CRM records and account management documentation to drive decisions and follow-through.
Pharmacovigilance and Safety: Collect and report pharmacovigilance information according to internal SOPs, safeguarding patient safety and regulatory compliance.
Territory Representation: Represent the territory in regular territory reviews and account plan discussions; be the voice of local insights and opportunities.
External Presence: Represent the company at national and international events and congresses to build awareness, relationships, and credibility.
Compliance and Data Protection: Obey data protection law and follow SOPs and compliance policies at all times.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships with office-based and hospital nephrologists, related specialties, pharmacists, nurses, and hospital personnel.

  • Experience creating a positive image with relevant customer groups.

  • Track record of detailed territory analysis to detect and develop relevant centres for rare diseases in nephrology.

  • Experience providing educational and commercial services to physicians and relevant pharmacies.

  • Proven success selling prescription medicines within legal boundaries, aligned with marketing and sales strategy.

  • Ability to independently plan, organize, and execute local educational sessions for healthcare professionals.

  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and account management with marketing, medical, diagnostics/lab services, and market access/compliance colleagues.

  • Consistent, timely reporting and accurate CRM and account management maintenance.

  • Knowledge of pharmacovigilance processes and reporting according to SOPs.

  • Experience representing a territory in reviews and account plan discussions.

  • Experience representing the company at national and international events and congresses.

  • Strong adherence to data protection law, SOPs, and compliance policies.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Existing network within the Stuttgart region among nephrology centres and hospital decision-makers.

  • Familiarity with rare renal diseases and care pathways across hospital and office-based settings.

  • Fluency in German and English; confidence in clinical and commercial conversations with diverse stakeholders.

  • Understanding of hospital procurement, specialty pharmacy distribution, and reimbursement dynamics in Germany.

  • Proficiency with CRM and account planning tools; comfort with data-driven performance reviews.

  • Degree in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, business, or a related field.
