Working Hours: 37 (this includes 1 sleep in per week at additional pay)

About the Role
Repton House is a mental health supported housing service, working to a recovery model. We support individuals over the age of 18 who have long-term mental health needs and/or autism. This role would suit someone from a support, care, nursing or complex needs background. Our residents are at the centre of what we do, providing person-centred services – meaning no two days are the same.
We know that recovery can look and feel different for everyone. But we also know that when we provide the right support, at the right time, recovery is possible.
What You’ll Do
You will help inspire and empower the people using our services to maintain their tenancy and independence in the community. You will work alongside them to create a personalised support plan that enables them to achieve their goals and aspirations.
Your responsibilities may include:
• Supporting residents with daily living and developing independent living skills
• Assisting with domestic and financial management tasks
• Helping residents to access work, leisure, or educational opportunities
• Encouraging personal choice and promoting recovery-focused support
• Working both independently and as part of a team on a weekly rota and on-call system
To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need:
A caring, compassionate and empathetic nature
• Enthusiasm for helping others and making a positive difference
• Flexibility, resilience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Confidence working both independently and as part of a wider support team
• Willingness to participate in a rota system, including on-call duties
• No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided – however, candidates with an understanding of mental health and/or lived experience are welcomed
