As Records Control Specialist you will be responsible for the inputs, updates and management of the product and testing data into business software databases or official repositories by PL. This role is responsible for the accuracy of data or records inputs as information will be used to provide manufacturing and customers with finished products databooks/specifications/certificate of analysis.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Compile, review, and verify all manufacturing and quality documentation (databooks, product specifications, material certificates) to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Baker Hughes and customer standards.
  • Manage documentation using Baker Hughes systems (SAP, Oracle/BHOS, Agility, LIMS, etc.) and maintain accurate records throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with Quality, Manufacturing, and Planning teams to prepare documentation packages, schedule customer/ICB inspections, and support MRB-related documentation.
  • Act as the focal point for customer and Independent Competent Body (ICB) interactions, including notifications, punch list management, and reporting progress on record compilation.
  • Support quality and continuous improvement initiatives, including participation in audits, KPI reporting, root-cause analysis, and promoting a strong quality culture within the plant.

To be successful in your role, you should bring the following to the table

  • Experience in documentation control / records management
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work with quality standards and compliance requirements, e.g., ISO 9001 or similar. Knowledge of tools such as Unifier, JIVS, and Oracle would be of benefit.
  • Experience creating databooks, documentation packages, or manufacturing records.
