The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services team:

RTX Enterprise Services Business Solutions is seeking a Records Management Portfolio Lead to join our Project Management Office (PMO). The PMO's mission is to lead and oversee significant organizational initiatives, ensuring seamless execution, minimizing disruptions, and achieving optimal outcomes. Portfolio Leads are delivery professionals committed to enabling project teams to perform at their highest potential. As part of an enterprise shared services organization, the PMO is responsible for driving critical business technology projects across the company. These initiatives include application development, system enhancements, modernization efforts, and business process improvements.

What You Will Do

  • Assist PMO Director with Long Range Plan Projects submittals and working with leadership on project prioritization.
  • Develop compelling materials to communicate the project's value delivery story clearly and effectively to senior and executive leaders.
  • Build trust and foster collaborative relationships with digital and functional executive sponsors, ensuring alignment with their strategic interests and viewpoints.
  • Oversee the execution of project management activities, including project schedules, key decisions, resource allocation, financials, requirements, issues, risks, and dependencies.
  • Address complex issues and challenges within projects, including tactful executive escalations and driving critical decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Global Process Owner and Business Relationship Manager (BRM).
  • Travel ~20% within the U.S.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires an Accounting or Finance degree and 12 years related experience or an Advanced Degree in related field and minimum 10 years of experience
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager
  • 5+ years of proven experience in Records Management: Proven experience in managing records management projects, including understanding of records lifecycle, retention schedules, and compliance requirements.
  • 5+ years of knowledge of Regulatory Requirements: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards related to records management, such as ISO 15489, GDPR, and other relevant laws and regulations.
  • 5+ years of Technical Expertise: Experience with records management systems (RMS) and related technologies, including electronic document management systems (EDMS), as well as knowledge of record storage and destruction processes.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience working in a government and/or large, complex corporate/industrial environment.
  • Expert in creating visually appealing, executive-level PowerPoint presentations.
  • Experience developing & managing financial business cases & cost/benefit analyses for DT projects
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft applications (MS Project add-ins/extensions, Excel pivots/analysis, SharePoint advance features, etc.)
  • Experience with Financial System Implementations
  • Role model in exhibiting and intentionally developing leadership behaviors in yourself & others by Driving Results, Instilling Trust, Collaborating and Communicating Effectively, maintaining Customer Focus and demonstrating Courage and Strategic Vision.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, etc).

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
