JOB SUMMARY
The Reconciliation Specialist is responsible for preparing bank account reconciliations and supporting all aspects of the daily treasury management function. In addition, the incumbent performs ad hoc analyzes to make recommendations on operational improvements that translate to financial savings for the company.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Balances bank account reconciliations monthly and on a timely basis; distribute adjusting entries for all account discrepancies
Balances all deposit accounts daily, including reconciling GL vs ACR on a daily basis
Supports Treasury Department with daily treasury management responsibilities including daily cash management as needed
Supports operations and conducts data analytics projects to provide information and insights to stakeholders for decision-making or solution development.
Deploys efficiency/automation tools to extract, synthesize, and validate data from different sources and transform data into usable metrics.
Troubleshoots and resolves discrepancies to ensure data integrity; responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and requirements.
Supports implementation of new payment acceptance methods and troubleshooting issues with both new and existing payment acceptance methods by partnering closely with IT and Accounting
Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Other Requirements: Accounting, data analytics, or treasury experience required.
Minimum Years of Experience: 1-3 years of experience
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge
Working knowledge of financial and accounting concepts
Working knowledge of Treasury products and services
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis in Microsoft Excel
Proficient in Google suite, with emphasis in Google Sheets
Skills & Abilities
High attention to detail, with the ability to process a large amount of information with minimal errors.
Strong investigative skills to be able to identify errors that are not easily identifiable.
Strong critical thinking skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
