Job Description

  

Job Summary:
Responsible Receiving Inspection of mechanical and electrical components and assemblies and coordination of supplier quality issues with suppliers
Detailed Description:

  •  Conduct detailed mechanical inspection of components and assemblies per drawings and specifications
    • First Article Inspections
    • On-going inspections
    • Engineering requests for inspection / troubleshooting
  • Interact with suppliers to assure material meets specification(s)
    • Drawing reviews
    • First Article Inspection reviews
    • Source inspections (rare but possible)
    • Inspection methodology and correlation
    • Corrective action coordination and follow-up
  • Create inspection plans and keep records per part number
  • Manage material flow through RI using SAP

  • Manufacturing Execution System (Camstar, SAP)

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of Quality or Manufacturing Technician experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Use of calipers, micrometers, height gauge, surface measurement, surface measurement tools - required
  • CMM programming (contact and visual) - required
  • Receiving Inspection experience (SAP, reporting, Camstar, MRB) - required
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint  computer applications - required
  • Technical report writing and presentations – required
  • Proficient understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing per ASME Y14.5 or equivalent - required Experience with infrared camera manufacturing – desired
  • Certified in or high level of understanding of electronics inspection per IPC-A-610 - desired
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Standard and optical (Keyence) microscope use
  • Experience in direct supplier interaction; machine shops and electronics assemblers
  • Must be US Citizen or PERM Resident

  

Salary Range:

$62,800.00-$83,700.000
